At Canada House Clinics, we are proud to once again be the leading national partner of the Canadian Walk for Veterans. Founded by Veterans and serving all Canadians, supporting events like the Walk is not just partnership, it’s an extension of our mission to honour service, improve lives, and champion the health and wellness of Canada’s military community.
The History of the Walk for Veterans
Since 2018, the Canadian Walk for Veterans has invited Canadians from coast to coast to walk side by side in recognition of our military members and Veterans. What began as a grassroots initiative has grown into an annual national tradition that fosters understanding of the challenges faced after service.
Each year, the Walk creates space for Canadians to learn about the realities of post-service life while raising funds for organizations that provide Veterans and military families with critical support, rehabilitation, and hope. In 2025, the Walk will once again be hosted in communities across Canada, bringing together Veterans, first responders, families, and grateful citizens to walk shoulder to shoulder.

Why the Walk for Veterans Matters
The primary goal of the Canadian Walk for Veterans is education. It provides Canadians with an opportunity to learn about the difficulties of coping with life after service; challenges that often include physical injuries, mental health struggles, and the complex transition back into civilian life.
A secondary goal is fundraising. Through modest registration fees, donations, and sponsorships, proceeds are directed to organizations working tirelessly to support Veterans and their families. From rehabilitation services to alternative therapies, these initiatives provide not only resources but also a renewed sense of purpose for those who need it most.
The Walk also prioritizes supporting veteran-owned businesses wherever possible. For example, the Walk’s website is proudly managed by Majaid Web Solutions, and the 2025 challenge coins are produced by Sharkz Coins, both veteran-owned enterprises.

Our Commitment to Veterans
At Canada House, our work goes far beyond medical cannabis education. For our Veteran clients, we provide comprehensive head-to-toe health assessments and assistance with Veterans Affairs Canada coverage to unlock the benefits they’ve earned. We understand the sacrifices made in uniform, and we stand ready to support Veterans in their journey toward optimal health and wellness.
Medical cannabis has become an essential tool in that journey. By leveraging advanced research and personalized treatment plans, we help Veterans manage conditions like chronic pain, PTSD, anxiety, and sleep disturbances. Our tailored approach ensures that every Veteran we serve receives compassionate, effective care.
