One of the best parts of being employed at Canada House is the experience, and learning about the benefits of cannabis. It’s one of the reasons why we are so passionate about what we do. We truly believe medical cannabis can help take care of your body when it needs to. We are happy to be a part of the movement that is helping to de-stigmatize cannabis use in a positive, productive way.
Our goal is to put our patients and ourselves in a place of healing and renewal from elements that range from poor appetite to PTSD with minimum to no side effects. There is only one product that I absolutely can’t live without and that is blackberry lemonade, pearls by Gron. I guess it’s the cannabinoid that I can’t live without (and that is CBN, which helps with relaxation and sleep). They taste amazing, and they have the perfect combination of CBN, THC and CBD. It is easy to adjust my dose depending on how tired I already a.m., they work, and they have a great price point. Available at Abba Medix.

LA Kush cake comes to mind when I think of my favourite medical strain. Although it’s hard to pick a favorite, LA Kush cake is a smooth and heavy hitter, a great year, older for extracting, and has great Meadow call value for those who require a little bit extra THC in their product. My go-to favourites strain so far has been Foray’s Mango Haze, a vape cartridge from Abba Medix. It’s fast-acting, convenient, and discreet for busy people. It’s a balanced CBD/THC one-to-one ratio and it allows me to be highly functional when doing any household work while at the same time relaxing, my body and mind to ease, anxiety, and stress. It also puts me in an overall good mood.

Bruce Banner. Enough said? Kidding. This hybrid strain has dense nugs and THC content that packs a punch. Bruce Banner might be best known as the alter ego of the comic book hero of the Incredible Hulk, but maybe he wouldn’t be such a stressed-out ball of anger if he just had some of his namesake strain. This strain delivers a euphoric and creative feeling while providing a head and body relaxation. Available at Abba Medix.

Spectrum Yellow CBD oil is my go-to every day at 4 to 5 mg of oil in the morning. I have high anxiety and seasonal depression. This strain has been the best at keeping my anxiety low as well as my depression. Cannabis has been my go-to for five years now as most anti-depressants/anti-anxiety medication will push the anxiety higher, whereas cannabis keeps low to nonexistent. I was recently diagnosed with adult ADHD, and I also find the oil helps me with concentration and focus.

By far my favourite strain is Wedding Mints by Truro Cannabis, this can be found with LP Optimus. I have been using it exclusively since it hit the market, (it has been available on the recreation site for a few years). I very much enjoy the relaxing effects, it is smooth but hits hard with its THC averaging around 30%. Great for sleep. Available at Canna Farms.
