We all know healthy relationships start in the bedroom, so let us help you spice things up!
Cannabis lube is a great option for both man and woman, it can also help the sex experience feel a little bit better.
What is Cannabis Lube?
Cannabis lube is a coconut oil-based lubrication that helps relax your muscles. It has been shown to enhance sexual intercourse, sensation, and climax. It is not meant to get you high like you would if you inhaled or ingested cannabis, but you will notice the effects in different ways. You may feel a tingly and warm sensation or with the increased muscle relaxation, you may also notice more sensitivity “down there”.
How does Cannabis Lube work?
When THC is applied topically, it has shown to have vasodilator effects which helps tremendously in increasing the blood flow to the genital area, making it more sensitive and ultimately increasing orgasms. When CBD is applied, it helps relax all those muscles. It can assist in decreasing any performance anxiety, and has also been reported to be very beneficial for painful sex.
How to use Cannabis Lube:
You use cannabis lube just like any other lubrication, apply onto the clitoris and outer vaginal area. It is recommended that the cannabis lube is applied to the woman for optimal results as the skin on the penis will not absorb as well as the vagina. The main difference from regular lube is that effects may not onset for up to 20 to 45 minutes, it is important to apply early, approximately 20-30 minutes prior for ultimate results. Orgasms are more enhanced for females than males when using this form of lubrication.
Precautions:
Do not use cannabis lube with latex condoms as the coconut oil will degrade and break down the latex which can lead to unintended pregnancy or an STI.
Due to lack of research, we do not recommend using cannabis lube during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Before using we recommend you apply a small amount on a sensitive area to ensure you do not have an allergic reaction.
